Fish of the day in a salt crust
A fresh tilapia, stuffed with lemongrass and cooked on the barbecue, served with traditional red sticky rice.

A fresh seasonal fruit salad with a crispy crumble.
Produce from the region, much of it organic and grown on our own farm, for a delicious and authentic meal.

What's included

Lunch is served on board the Mai Phai, our large boat, or on the island, around a large table overlooking the lake and its wooded islets. The boat can also be privately hired for an event.

- US$45 per adult, half price for children under 12.
- Season
- From 1 September to 15 April, depending on the lake level.
- Travellers
- From 2 to 30 travellers. Free for children under 3.
- Cancellation
- Refundable up to 48 hours before the trip. For a private trip, up to one month before.
- Meeting point
- In front of the Sunset Nam Ngum Resort, on the lakeshore, in the village of Ban Tha Heua (Vang Vieng district). The exact location is confirmed when you book.
- What to bring
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses) and your swimwear.
- Getting here
- Allow 45 minutes from Vang Vieng and 2 hours from Vientiane. Optional pick-up in Vang Vieng, one hour before departure: US$50 return per vehicle, by private transport.
